AMBIT at the Bath House
Join us for an evening of poetry & prose from Siriol Troup, David Mac and Martin Smith introduced by Dr Martin Bax
Readers from the floor are, as always, welcome (one page max)!
Siriol Troup's first collection, Drowning up the Blue End, appeared in 2004.
Her second collection, Beneath the Rime, was published by Shearsman in April 2009. She lives in Twickenham.
David Mac is a forklift truck driver/bum who writes twisted prose and poetry, some of which has appeared in Ambit, Mud Luscious, This Zine Will Change Your Life and a poetry anthology entitled Angel's Breath. A regular contributor to Monkey Kettle and Clockwise Cat, he's working on the ‘Great First Novel'.
Marcus Smith, born and raised in the UK and America, has published poems and reviews on both side of the Atlantic. His work has appeared in Acumen, Envoi, Orbis, Salmagundi, The Shop and Stand. Recent prizes and commendations from the Pushcart Prize, Ledbury Poetry Festival, Poetry on the Lake, the Southern Poetry Review, the Virginia Warbley Competition and the Thomas Hardy Society. He lives in London.
