Not Me, Not You

Start-stop addictiveness, laid-back catchiness. Some bands just know how to do it first time. With a sound similar to Kooks, with a bit of The Coral thrown in, The Jacks have created an effective, simple sound that just sounds natural. Recording the single completely live and finishing it in one take may have added to this feeling of organic cheeriness. 

With music producer Saul Davies adding the final layer of shine to the single, the only thing you could find to fault these guys on is possibly the naivety of their sunny attitude that this single is painted in, what with the British summer weather being it's usual dose of grey drizzle. But I say close the curtains, stick on The Jacks, and have the sun in your bedroom.
