2009 BBC Samuel Johnson Prize Winner is a Long Tale about a Whale!

Philip Hoare's Leviathan or, The Whale has been named as winner of the BBC Samuel Johnson prize. The £20,000 prize was presented at a ceremony in London, with the BBC broadcasting a special edition of The Culture Show.
