Arts Admin

With financial support from Arts Council England and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Artsadmin runs an advice and information service for artists working in the area of live art, performance, time-based media and interdisciplinary arts.

The advice and information service is completely free. We can offer an informal session in person or over the phone. The content of sessions is geared to you - please contact one of the advisors with a brief outline of what you would like to discuss.

This can be an opportunity for you to discuss your work, and to gather information on sources of support, funding, appropriate mentors, curators, programmers and venues and networks supporting live art and interdisciplinary practices.

As part of the Artists' Advisory service, Artsadmin prepares and distributes a weekly 'e-digest' - a compendium of artists' opportunities and other useful information.

Artsadmin has been offering bursaries to artists based in the UK, working in live art and contemporary performance practices since 1998.

This bursary scheme is now divided into two strands; one for artists at an early stage in their career, and one for artists who have been practicing professionally for some years. The scheme aims to support artists working innovatively through providing small bursaries for research and process-based work. They provide time, space and support for artists to work in an open-ended way.
